FREDE CLEMENTS
Frede has been a member of First Baptist Church since 1957.
He married Nancy Holt on August 24, 1958. God gave him 50 plus years with the greatest wife any man could ever have. Nancy died on May 25, 2009. He has one daughter, Cherry Carol Webb who works at CDS in Martin, TN and is married to Dwayne Webb.
Frede taught school for 36 years, the last 33 years at Greenfield High school. He retired in 1994. In order to survive teaching, Frede moonlighted as a silkscreen printer, insurance agent, men's department sales at Davidson's Department Store, flea market sales, taught adult night classes, taught energy summer sessions through Jackson State Community College, and was a building inspector. Since retiring, Frede has been a fire and police dispatcher, shipping room supervisor in clothing factory, a mystery shopper and a carnival worker.
Frede, graduated from Greenfield High School in 1954. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, Tenn Tech, Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies, Union University, Murray State University, Florida Technical University, Dyersburg State Community College, Weakley County Vocational School, Tennessee Technical and Vocational School at McKenzie, TN, Tennessee Technical and Vocational School at Newbern, TN. He has a BS Degree, a MS+45 degrees.
Frede was ordained as a Deacon in First Baptist Church in Greenfield in 1962 with the late Dr. R. G. Lee preaching the ordination service.
Frede is currently serving as chairman of the Property and Maintenance Committee and on the Counting Committee. Frede serves as the greeter for Sunday morning services. He is a faithful member of First Baptist Church.
